To promote general wellness on all levels through exercise, recreation such as hiking, canoeing, etc, to develop the body, mind and soul by appreciating the natural laws of nature and its harmony.
Finally, to bring a self-sustaining project to life, and a “solution to the pollution” through bio-digester technology, which turns human, animal and plant waste into pure natural fertilizer; renewable natural gas to power both vehicles and kilowatt generators, which in turn power the grid naturally and free from pollution; and sustainable greenhouse gardening through green plant factories, to supply produce to the project and the greater community.
About Us
Duck River Preserve (DRP) was founded in 2018 by concerned local businessmen in Columbia, Tennessee. In our first year, we raised over $1 million from a wide variety of private and corporate donors, acquired 135 acres of pristine wilderness along the river, and developed miles of hiking trails.
As we master our model, we plan to scale up and launch other river preserves across the country, and the globe, as River Preserve International.
President - Gerry Snoddy has been involved in real estate, construction, and development for over 40 years, overseeing transactions totaling well over $100 million. He has represented some of the largest private investors in the USA and has acted as CEO, president, or owner of various corporations, both in the United States and abroad.
